सभी प्राइमरी स्कूलों को निपुण बनाने और पढ़ाई का स्तर सुधारने वाले अकादमिक रिसोर्स पर्सन (एआरपी) के चयन के लिये योग्य शिक्षक नहीं मिल रहे हैं। 22 मार्च को आयोजित एआरपी की परीक्षा में 50 फीसदी शिक्षक फेल हो गए। उत्तीर्ण शिक्षकों ने मंलवार को डायट में शिक्षण कौशल (माइक्रो टीचिंग) टेस्ट दिया। विकास भवन में 27 मार्च को साक्षात्कार होगा। दो दिन बाद अंतिम चयन सूची जारी होगी। विज्ञापन में दिये पद के सापेक्ष एआरपी नहीं मिलने पर दोबारा से परीक्षा करानी पड़ेगी।
राज्य परियोजना निदेशालय ने पूरे प्रदेश में फरवरी में एआरपी के चयन के लिये शिक्षकों से आवेदन मांगे थे। इसमें सामाजिक विज्ञान, गणित, हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी और विज्ञान विषय के विशेषज्ञ शिक्षकों को आवेदन करना था। लखनऊ में करीब 46 एआरपी के पदों के सापेक्ष 1619 प्राइमरी स्कूलों से 66 शिक्षकों ने आवेदन किया था। डायट प्रचार्य अजय कुमार सिंह ने निर्देशन में 22 मार्च को एआरपी के चयन के लिये डायट में परीक्षा का आयोजन किया गया। परीक्षा में शामिल 57 शिक्षकों में से सिर्फ 28 उत्तीर्ण हो पाए हैं। बाकी के फेल होने वाले 29 शिक्षक परीक्षा में 60 फीसदी अंक नहीं ला पाए।
डायट में मंगलवार को उत्तीर्ण शिक्षकों का माइक्रो टीचिंग का टेस्ट लिया गया। गुरुवार को विकास भवन में साक्षात्कार होगा। दो दिन बाद डायट और बीएसए कार्यालय में चयनित एआरपी की सूची चस्पा की जाएगी।

एआरपी का काम होगा शैक्षिक स्तर को सुधारना
शासन ने प्राइमरी स्कूलों का शैक्षिक स्तर सुधारने और निपुण बनाने के लिये एआरपी के पद सृजित किये हैं। यह बच्चों को अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी गणित, विज्ञान और सामाजिक विज्ञान में दक्ष बनाने में मदद करेंगे। स्कूलों का निरीक्षण करेंगे। बच्चों के पढ़ाई के स्तर को जांचेंगे। विभागीय आदेश, ऐप और बच्चों के पढ़ाई से लेकर अन्य गतिविधियों का क्रियान्वयन कराएंगे। शिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षण देंगे। एआरपी स्कूलों की प्रगति भी परखेंगे।
समग्र शिक्षा के तहत न्याय पंचायत और ब्लॉक संसाधन केंद्रों पर एआरपी की तैनाती की जाती है। शासन ने एआरपी के नवीनीकरण के नियमों में बदलाव किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार अब अब आरपी अधिकतम 3 वर्ष तक रह सकते हैं।

Qualified teachers are not being found for the selection of Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) to strengthen all primary schools and improve the quality of education. In the ARP exam held on March 22, 50% of the teachers failed. The successful teachers took the teaching skills (micro-teaching) test at DIET on Tuesday. Interviews will be held at Vikas Bhawan on March 27, and the final selection list will be released two days later. If ARPs are not available relative to the advertised posts, the exam will have to be conducted again.
The State Project Directorate had sought applications from teachers across the state in February for the selection of ARPs. Specialist teachers in Social Science, Mathematics, Hindi, English, and Science were required to apply. In Lucknow, against around 46 ARP posts, 66 teachers from 1,619 primary schools had applied. Under the guidance of DIET Principal Ajay Kumar Singh, the exam for ARP selection was conducted at DIET on March 22. Out of 57 teachers who appeared, only 28 passed, while the remaining 29 failed to secure 60% marks.
On Tuesday, the successful teachers underwent a micro-teaching test at DIET. Interviews will be held at Vikas Bhawan on Thursday. Two days later, the list of selected ARPs will be displayed at the DIET and BSA offices.
ARPs’ role will be to improve educational standards
The government has created ARP positions to enhance the educational standards of primary schools and make them proficient (NIPUN). They will help children gain proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. They will inspect schools, assess students’ learning levels, implement departmental orders, apps, and other academic activities, train teachers, and monitor school progress.
Under Samagra Shiksha, ARPs are deployed at Nyaya Panchayats and Block Resource Centers. The government has revised the renewal rules for ARPs. According to the new rules, an ARP can now serve for a maximum of three years.
